Student Assemblies

Educational Assemblies

The PTA plans and funds three to four educational assemblies annually, looking for a diversity of topics and quality of presentation. The purpose of these assemblies is to augment our students' curriculum with inspiring, educational, and motivational presentations that give the students an alternative outlet for learning. Past assemblies have included presentations of music, dance, anti-bullying themes, theater, and science.

Spirit Assemblies

Spirit Assemblies are held once a month on a Friday morning for grades 1-6. Students are encouraged to wear Fremont Spiritwear or green clothing.

The purpose of the Spirit Assembly is to acknowledge great achievements and events at Fremont.

The Word-of-the-Month, as part of the Character & Ethics Program, is discussed and a student from each classroom who exhibits that character trait is recognized as Citizen of the Month.

Also honored from each classroom are a Writer of the Month and an Accelerated Reader Student of the Month.

Classes (by room) that post the best attendance record for the preceding month are awarded the Attendance Flag.  Classes (by room) that show the most spirit are awarded the Spirit Flag.

The event concludes with the children singing the Fabulous, Friendly, Fremont song.
