Fremont Elementary School is supported by two parent-led volunteer organizations - the PTA and the Fremont Foundation. Each group works in tandem to support the students, teachers and staff and to provide financial support (Foundation) and volunteers (PTA) for events, enrichment activities and school improvements.

One thing that makes our school so special is our parent participation. Studies have shown that children do better in school when parents volunteer – and our children are the beneficiaries of our dedicated Fremont parents. With PTA and Fremont Foundation leadership and lots of volunteers we are able to give our students opportunities many other schools do not have. Our Art and Music programs bring arts education into the classroom on a regular basis. We offer special student educational assemblies to augment the curriculum, and students are also enriched with choral music and special field trips. We provide the funds for our school library and computing facilities. We provide social events, such as the Magic Show and Family Bingo Night, to keep our sense of community strong. We provide resources for our parents and staff to make sure everyone is well informed. Our parents are responsible for coordinating and implementing over 65 special programs and events at Fremont to assist and enrich the experience of our children, families, teachers and staff.
