Fremont PTA is a not-for-profit service organization that works to ensure the best possible experience and environment for Fremont's children, teachers and staff. Through our fundraising efforts we are able to offer curriculum-based school programs, facility improvements, teacher appreciation activities and social events to promote the strong sense of community we enjoy at Fremont. Through our volunteer efforts we provide thousands of hours of support to students, teachers and staff inside and outside the classroom. Becoming involved in the PTA is a great way to share opinions and information with other parents and your child's teachers, to learn about what's going on in school, to promote programs enhancing the education at Fremont and to be part of a strong voice speaking for our children's welfare. You do not have to attend meetings to be a member of the PTA!

Although the Fremont PTA is primarily a service organization, we do need to raise approximately $40,000 per year to keep our programs going. This sounds like a lot, but it really breaks down to only about $60 per student per year. Some families generously exceed this amount annually and we say: thank you! Don’t stop! For other families who may find financial donations more difficult, please keep in mind that every little bit counts. Together with the Fremont Foundation our goal is 100% financial participation from families. So whether you can give $5 or $500, your contribution makes a difference!

We hope to see you at our PTA meetings, usually held on the first Wednesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the auditorium. Attending PTA meetings is a great way to keep informed and be a part of your child’s school experience. Our monthly meetings usually last until around 9.30 a.m., but if you can’t stay for the entire meeting, that’s fine! Children are always welcome at PTA meetings.
