The Fremont Foundation (formally known as Parents and Community for Fremont {PAC}) is a
nonprofit, parent-run foundation established in 1995 by Fremont parents and community
members to raise money for Fremont Elementary School to lessen the ever-widening gap
between the funds provided by the school district and the educational needs of our students.
The Fremont Foundation’s primary mission is to provide financial resources to enhance the
learning environment and education of the students at Fremont. Since 2010, each year Fremont
Foundation has raised close to $100,000 to support that mission. The money the Foundation
raises stays at Fremont and is used to fund teacher supplies, class field trips, unique
educational programs, instructional materials for teachers, a lower grade PE program and so
much more.
In addition to raising funds, Fremont Foundation helps build a sense of community at Fremont.
The Foundation sponsors events throughout the year, including the Kindergarten Family dinner,
monthly dine-outs, and a Parent Party and Auction.
Fremont Foundation monthly meetings are generally held the third Tuesday of the month at
6pm. They are open to everyone. Check the Fremont calendar for exact dates and locations.

Teacher Grants
Each year Fremont teachers are given grants from the Fremont Foundation. These grants fund all kinds of special events, field trips, supplies, software, special assemblies, books and other things that our excellent teachers feel will help support their classroom activities. Fremont Foundation grants fund our popular fourth-grade Gold Rush Day and other grade specific programs.
